Role: Temporary Communications and Engagement Coordinator - Bradford
Salary: £30K (this will be pro rata and paid on an hourly rate)
Contract length: Now until September
Hours: 9am- 5pm Monday- Friday
Position Overview:
Elevation Recruitment is recruiting for a national utilities business to communicate and engage with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders, building trusting relationships to keep the company relevant and aligned with its ambitions.
Responsibilities:
1. Engage digitally with customers for the capital programme, prioritizing customer focus.
2. Champion the customer in all capital projects.
3. Support the communications and engagement team by creating engaging content and communication plans.
4. Create and manage paid social media campaigns to raise awareness of local capital schemes.
5. Develop engaging content to support customer experience initiatives and projects.
6. Assist the communications team in achieving the wider strategy for the capital programme.
7. Create engaging video content to visually narrate the importance of investments.
8. Support research efforts and collaborate with agencies.
9. Write content for various channels to showcase investments in assets.
10. Assist with audience insight and measurement.
11. Utilize social media listening tools for effective customer engagement.
12. Stay updated with industry trends and news to identify content opportunities.
13. Identify and escalate potential issues, working closely with the wider team to mitigate risks.
14. Collaborate with the website team to develop engaging web content about capital schemes.
15. Create regular internal newsletters to update colleagues on ongoing projects.
16. Support projects across the Brand team with content development and technical knowledge.
17. Assist with wider content and copywriting initiatives as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Experience in a communication role.
2. Videography and content creation skills.
3. Experience presenting to groups of various sizes.
4. Strong relationship-building abilities.
5. Experience working in similar roles within-house or through agencies.
6. Excellent customer service skills.
7. Proficiency in IT, particularly Microsoft Office and design software.
