Overview
An exciting opportunity for a Receptionist/Administrator to join the Lyndon Community Mental Health Team. The post holder will be the first point of contact for patients, staff and visitors, presenting in a friendly and approachable manner.
Responsibilities
* Provide reception and administrative support to the team, including monitoring, recording and booking appointments.
* Manage a busy telephone line, receive incoming mail and ensure appropriate action is taken.
* Process clinical letters and other correspondence.
* Monitor the team allocation list and support multi-disciplinary working.
* Work in conjunction with other team members to ensure administrative support is available to all centre staff.
* liaise with multidisciplinary team members, other health professionals, GPs, social workers, service users and other appropriate agencies.
Requirements
* Able to work on own initiative.
* Demonstrate effective organisational and administrative skills.
* Experience in reception or administrative duties within a healthcare setting is desirable (as described in the role).
