Location: Osprey Quay, Portland (Office-Based Role)
G3 Systems is seeking a commercially minded and detail-focused Finance Analyst to support the continued delivery of robust financial reporting and project performance insight across the organisation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or an experienced finance professional looking to further develop within a dynamic, project-driven environment.
The Role
The Finance Analyst will support the financial reporting framework and provide meaningful insight to the wider business, ensuring strong financial governance and control across projects and company operations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the financial reporting process in line with Finance SOPs and month-end requirements
* Delivering analysis and insight on financial performance, risk exposure, warranty provisions and cashflow
* Providing financial support and project controls for overseas projects
* Reporting on overall financial health across projects
* Producing cashflow forecasts at both project and company level
* Completing month-end reporting and reconciliations in line with Finance SOPs
* Supporting year-end procedures and external audit requirements
About You
You will bring strong analytical capability, attention to detail and the confidence to engage constructively with stakeholders across the organisation.
Qualifications:
* Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or qualified by experience
Skills & Experience:
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Advanced MS Excel capability
* Experience using large accounting/ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, SUN or similar)
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge appropriately
* High level of accuracy and fast, precise data entry skills
* Ability to manage workload in a structured and deadline-driven environment
