Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity available for a Registered Children's Home Manager with Rochdale Council.
Rochdale Council is seeking someone willing to work 37 hours per week.
Key responsibilities
* Operate within the frameworks set out in statutory guidance and legislation concerning the care of looked after children, including care planning, placement and review, education, health, and leaving care.
* Develop and maintain effective liaison with managers and staff within children's social care, other agencies, and voluntary groups to promote inclusion and voice of carers, children, and young people in residential services.
* Ensure appropriate staffing cover to fulfill the home's statement of purpose, function, and staffing policy.
* Implement service policies, practices, and procedures to ensure the home operates according to its statement of purpose and function.
Must hold an Enhanced DBS.
Must have at least a level 5 NVQ qualification.
