Year 1 Teacher (Part time, Temporary)
Thursdays and Fridays – ASAP – July 2026

£600 - £1190 (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
The School and Role
We are working with a friendly and supportive primary school who are looking to welcome a passionate Year 1 Teacher to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who loves nurturing young learners and supporting their transition from EYFS into KS1, helping them to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning.
Requirements:
The successful Teacher will have:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Have experience teaching in KS1, ideally year 1
3. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment
4. Create an engaging, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
5. Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
6. Work as part of a collaborative and caring team
7. Show enthusiasm, creativity and excellent classroom management skills
