The role offers hands‑on project engineering experience across the Transport, Water, Energy, Industrial, Property and Buildings sectors globally, with a focus on energy conversion and storage technologies.
About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Graduate Engineer to join our Energy Solutions team in Newcastle. You will work towards a professional qualification and contribute to engineering design, numerical analysis and project delivery.
Core Responsibilities
* Delivering technical assignments, work elements, work packages and project engineering design activities under supervision
* Numerical analysis, research and preparation of technical reports
* Use of engineering software to support engineering design
* Support site visits and project team meetings as required
* Apply your skills and knowledge in a range of environments and across various project types
* Contribute to, and deliver on, projects in a team environment
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Honours degree in a relevant engineering discipline
* Working towards Chartered Engineer or near‑Chartered status in a relevant professional institution
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Application of engineering principles
* General understanding of conventional, renewable and evolving power generation technologies
* General understanding of energy conversion and energy storage techniques
