Alison Gray Recruitment are hiring a Deli Supervisor to lead the daily operations of a busy deli, including food-to-go, hot counter, instore bakery, and provisions. Youll inspire your team, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. Hourly Rate: £13.07 Hours: Monday - Friday 5:45am - 3pm and degree of flexibility to work weekends if required (37.5hour contract) Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve hot/cold meals to maximise sales and customer satisfaction Manage stock levels, compliance, and food safety documentation (HACCP, Natashas Law) Lead weekly/quarterly stock takes and minimise waste through portion control and pricing Maintain high standards across all deli areas Train and manage staff, ensuring team alignment and performance Support community and charity initiatives Promote your area via social media and monitor competitor activity Key holder duties may be required with training Requirements Minimum 1 years experience in deli, café, food-to-go or hot counter GCSE Maths & English (Grade C or above) or relevant catering qualification Strong knowledge of food safety practices Excellent communication and team leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Desirable Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate Experience in bakery, coffee, and deli operations To apply, please forward your CV for consideration.
