An exciting new opportunity has become available within our community nursing administration team in Bracknell. This post is to provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the effective and smooth running of our eRostering/staffing system across all our clinical and administration teams, including ensuring that all our shifts have adequate provision on each shift. You will support the team leaders in ensuring all the rostering of their shifts are safe and fair to all staff and be the first point of contact for all working, guiding all aspects of roster guidelines. You will be the first point of contact for all working in community nursing Bracknell rostering system and answer all calls and emails in a timely, polite, and professional manner. You will ensure that all requests for shift have been processed through the correct authorisation procedures and undertake regular monitoring of the rosters to ensure visibility of upcoming gaps, acting where necessary. Liaising with the team leaders and admin lead at the start and end of each weekday, you will use the rostering system to ensure that rosters are created and liaise with NHSP (NHS Professionals) to support request for staff with suitable bank members wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications
* Provide comprehensive administrative support to the eRostering/staffing system across clinical and administration teams, ensuring all shifts are adequately staffed.
* Act as first point of contact for all working in community nursing Bracknell rostering system, answering calls and emails promptly, politely and professionally.
* Ensure all shift requests are processed through correct authorisation procedures and conduct regular monitoring of rosters to identify and address upcoming gaps.
* Collaborate with team leaders and admin lead at start/end of each weekday to create rosters and liaise with NHS Professionals to secure suitable bank staff where possible.
* Maintain strong organisational and planning skills, excellent time management, ability to reprioritise tasks for yourself and others to ensure timely delivery.
* Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, observation and reporting skills, working effectively in a team and on your own initiative without supervision.
* Possess computer software qualification or equivalent knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other relevant programmes.
* Have previous knowledge and experience working in a busy office or customer care environment.
* Be a forward‑thinking, proactive individual who identifies tasks and potential problems quickly.
