Base pay range
Locum Dentist - Up to £600/day - NHS-Focused - Flexibility, Support & Opportunity
* Practice: Alpha Dental Care
* Location: Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire
* Days available: Wednesday and Fridays- Start immediately until January 2026
Looking for a rewarding short-term opportunity with excellent daily rates and real clinical autonomy? We’re offering a Locum Dentist role with day rates of up to £600, supporting NHS contract delivery within a high-performing, patient-first practice.
This is a great opportunity to step into a well-organised, supportive environment with the option to apply for a permanent Associate position if desired.
What’s on Offer:
* Competitive day rate - up to £600/day (based on performance & location)
* NHS-focused contract - full books ready to go
* 8-hour clinical day (with pro-rata for shorter sessions)
* No lab fees or hygiene deductions - day rate is yours
* Strong clinical leadership support
* Flexible start date, with a maximum one-month notice period either way
* Ongoing marketing for a permanent associate post - locums then welcome to apply!
What We’re Looking For:
* GDC-registered dentist with NHS performer number
* Comfortable delivering around 30 UDAs/day (averaged monthly)
* Clear communication and a commitment to patient choice and quality care
This is a short-term locum role designed to support NHS delivery - with transparency and collaboration at its core. Clinical discussions and flexibility underpin our approach, and any adjustments (including UDA targets and the day rate) are handled with fairness and dialogue.
