About the Role
Are you an experienced Chef ready to take your culinary skills to the next level? Join our vibrant Buffets team at Butlin’s Skegness! We’re seeking passionate individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and take pride in delivering consistently high-quality food.
As a key player in our buffet restaurants, you’ll lead and develop a dynamic team that brings unforgettable dining experiences to life. Collaborating closely with the Junior Kitchen Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, exceptional standards, and full compliance with food safety policies.
Your role will involve maintaining a clean and organized workstation while setting the standard for the Commis Chefs you’ll support, train, and mentor. Your leadership will not only keep the kitchen running smoothly but also foster growth and development within your team.
This is a full-time, permanent position, offering 35 hours per week across 5 days, including weekends, with pay received fortnightly. Breakfast shifts run from 4am to 12pm, and dinner shifts from 11am to 7:30pm. Flexibility is essential to meet the needs of our business.
For those over 18 relocating to the area, live-in accommodation may be available (subject to DBS).
About You
We’re on the lookout for chefs with proven experience in a busy, high-volume kitchen. This role is not suitable for beginners or those without professional kitchen experience.
You should be hardworking, reliable, and determined, with a genuine commitment to high standards and a desire for continuous improvement. Understanding the impact of great food and teamwork on guest experiences is crucial, and your energy and enthusiasm will inspire your team to deliver excellence.
Holding a Level 3 Food Safety qualification, you’ll confidently lead others in a fast-paced environment. You’ll also manage margins, control costs, and maintain excellent hygiene, health, and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities
As a member of our cleaning team, you’ll add that extra sparkle to our guests' holidays by ensuring our resort remains clean, tidy, and pristine. If you’re ready to go the extra mile for our team and our guests, we’d love to welcome you aboard!
We are looking for candidates who:
* Can clean our main venues and toilets, utilizing electrical and mechanical cleaning equipment (full training provided)
* Handle cleaning chemicals safely (full training provided)
* Perform external road cleaning, including emptying general waste and recycling bins
* Move furniture to accommodate various activities within venues
* Clean and disinfect toilets and changing rooms
Normal working hours are evening shifts from 5pm to 2am. Please note that due to the nature of the role, applicants must be over 18. Start and finish times may vary depending on the break type.
