We are expanding our services into Endoscopy, including gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, and haemorrhoidal banding.

About the Role
The role involves working under the supervision of the Endoscopy Nurse in Charge to provide the best possible patient experience.
You will be involved in the entire patient pathway, from pre-admission to procedure, recovery, and discharge. EPs contribute to the safe and effective operation of their unit and support CQC and JAG GRS activities and accreditation.
We are looking for someone who can:
* Perform clinical tasks and contribute to training others
* Carry out site intravenous access for patients requesting sedation, if competent
* Help ensure the endoscopy list runs smoothly and efficiently, following CHEC Endoscopy SOPs and policies
* Prepare clinical areas daily
* Participate in CQC and JAG accreditation and ongoing competency training through the JETs framework
* Show passion for patient care with excellent communication skills
* Pay attention to detail and demonstrate eagerness to learn
* Exhibit good listening skills and logical thinking
* Work well within a team
To be successful, you will need:
* Registered practitioner with the NMC or HCPC
* At least 1 year of experience in Endoscopy services
* Experience with JAG accreditation
* A passion for high-quality patient safety and care
* Education to degree level or equivalent experience
