Building Services Technician – Commercial Electrician
Location: Severnside
Contract: Permanent | Monday–Friday
We’re looking for a Building Services Technician (Commercial Electrician) to support the maintenance and safe operation of our Severnside site. This is a hands‑on role, ideal for a qualified electrician who also has experience across general building and facilities maintenance.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring site reliability, carrying out electrical work alongside wider maintenance activities in a fast‑paced environment.
Internally known as Building Services Technician.
Key responsibilities:
1. Carry out electrical maintenance and repairs across the site (lighting, sockets, basic fault finding)
2. Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks
3. Maintain and monitor site equipment including boilers, compressors and cooling systems
4. Perform general building maintenance (basic plumbing, carpentry, fabric repairs)
5. Support site compliance including permit to work, contractor control and Legionella
6. Maintain high standards of safety, water hygiene and building condition
Skills & experience:
7. Qualified or time‑served Electrician (commercial/industrial)
8. Experience in building services or site maintenance environments
9. Multi‑skilled approach across electrical and general maintenance
10. Able to work independently and as part of a team
