We are looking for a dedicated SEMH Teacher to join a specialist provision in Clacton on Sea. This role isnt just about delivering a curriculum; its about providing the stability, empathy, and resilience that students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs require to re:engage with learning.

The Role
* Leading a small class with significant SEMH needs, including those with trauma:related backgrounds or ADHD.
* Designing lessons that prioritise emotional regulation and social skills alongside academic attainment.
* Implementing Trauma Perceptive Practice (TPP) to understand that behaviour is communication.
* Utilising the local environment for outdoor learning and community:based activities to build real:world confidence.
What Youll Need
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A calm, patient demeanor and the ability to remain professional in high:stress situations.
* The skill to pivot a lesson on a dime if a students emotional state requires a different approach.
* Experience working with multi:agency teams, including educational psychologists and social workers.
