Senior Store Assistant (Keyholder) in Marlborough
30 hours per week
We are looking for candidates who live locally and can easily commute to our store. Our stores are open from 7 AM to 8 PM, so you must be able to manage early starts and late finishes.
What you’ll do

This is more than just a store job. You’ll be the friendly face of Toolstation, helping customers find what they need, and you’ll also be hands-on with deliveries, warehouse tasks, and stocking shelves. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves. It can get hot in summer and chilly in winter, but if you care about doing a good job and providing great customer service, you’ll fit right in.
This position includes accountability for supporting colleagues to deliver a great customer experience. While retail experience is not essential, you will need some experience of either being a key holder or supervising team members.
* Handle deliveries and unpack stock
* Keep the store clean and prepare orders
* Provide outstanding service to customers
* Ask the right questions to understand customers’ projects
* Be proactive in selling Toolstation Club and Trade Accounts
* Keyholder responsibilities: open/close the store, assign daily tasks, and provide short-term supervisory cover
