Our client is currently looking to recruit Service Engineer Supervisor to join their busy team. This is a technical leadership role that bridges the gap between hands-on engineering and operational management. Essentially, you are the "engine room" of the service department—ensuring that large-scale gas and diesel engines stay running while keeping your team of engineers productive and on budget. The "Big Three" Responsibilities Technical Support: You aren’t just sitting behind a desk; you’re the go-to expert. You’ll talk engineers through complex faults over the phone or head to the site yourself to troubleshoot when things get tricky. People & Logistics: You’ll handle the "who, what, and when" of the service schedule, managing a team of technicians and making sure they have the parts and info they need to do the job. The Bottom Line: You’ll keep an eye on the numbers. This means ensuring jobs don't take longer than they should and that the service department stays profitable. Key Logistics to Consider The Schedule: A standard 39-hour week, but with a clear requirement for flexibility. The "out-of-hours" and weekend work is a core part of this role, not an occasional extra. Travel: Since you’ll be supporting engineers on-site and need a full licence, expect to be out on the road frequently. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation offering career progression
