We're working on behalf of a large, well respected special school in Salisbury that look after students with SEMH & ASC. The school are growing in numbers year on year with additional funding having been recently approved.
The school are incredibly proud of the important support they provide local families. Providing education, care and therapeutic support to their pupils for students aged 4-19. Due to the needs of the students, this is a school where you have a genuine opportunity to change the lives of your students.
The role
They currently have a gap in their Science department for a full-time teacher. The role would be teaching up to GCSE Science across range of age groups. This position is a full-time position, so you will be expected to plan and mark your lessons.
There is a new, fantastic head of department that will provide you with regular support. Due to the needs of the students, it is important that you are comfortable working with challenging behaviour.
