About you:
1. Demonstrated experience in Learning & Development, with a track record of building or scaling L&D provision to support organisational priorities.
2. Well-rounded and hands-on, able to manage multiple stakeholders and suppliers, and comfortable working across different teams and projects.
3. Proficient in designing and delivering engaging training programmes, including digital content, instructional guides, and face-to-face workshops.
4. Capable of developing and implementing new processes and systems, with practical experience in setting up or administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
5. Committed to ensuring accessibility, safeguarding, and compliance with organisational standards in all learning solutions.
About the role:
6. Oversee the creation and rollout of individual training and development plans, including health and safety requirements, working closely with leaders and teams to identify needs and monitor progress.
7. Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the organisation’s LMS, including configuration, content migration, and user support.
8. Design and produce a range of learning content, from training materials and guides to e-learning and video modules.
9. Facilitate and deliver in-person training sessions and workshops, continuously improving delivery based on feedback.
10. Ensure all learning solutions meet robust standards for accessibility, safeguarding, data protection, and organisational compliance.
About the team:
The role is part of a collaborative HR, OD, and Workforce Planning Team. The L&D Manager is supported by the HR Admin team and will work closely with the wider HR team, the Corporate Health & Safety Manager and the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) officer. Influence and strong interpersonal skills are key as success depends on guiding, engaging, and inspiring colleagues across departments.
