An opportunity has arisen for Temporary Receptionist (Maternity Cover) to join the Aramark UK team at RNLI College, Poole, Dorset, BH15 1HZ

What we offer:
⦁ This is a full-time temporary position (12 months, covering maternity leave), 37.5 hours per week, 5 days over 7 including weekends. Shifts range between 7am - 10pm.
⦁ The hourly rate is £12.52 (£24497.57 per annum)

A day in the life of a Receptionist:

* To work within the reception team at the RNLI
* To assist with any requirements or requests made by clients and their guests with regard to special requirements, room set up, audio visual, and any other information and pass on the relevant people
* To answer the switchboard/telephone in a professional and personable manner
* Answering in a timely manner all emails received daily
* To report and where possible take action about customers complaints and compliments
* To operate & maintain effective use of computerised booking & billing system
* Creating reservation on the hotel management system (Opera)
* Checking in and checking out guest into the property ensuring all details are capture that are required.
* Promote good relationships with all staff and customers
* Be responsible for cash handling and reconciliation and enduring that all amounts balance daily
* To positively promote the company in both general conduct and standards, be an ambassador of the RNLI

* Able to communicate at all levels
* Professional appearance and conduct
* To liaise with other departments to ensure good communication and to offer support
* Flexible & organised approach to the role
* Capable of working on own initiative with minimum supervision
* Excellent communication skills
* PC literate with keyboard competency
* High level of accuracy, numeracy and literacy
* Effective listening skills
