About the role
We’ve a great new role for a Water Quality Assurance Analyst within our Water Quality team to support our mission to provide clean, clear water that tastes good.
You’ll be assisting in the roll out and sustainment of the new Water Supply Quality Management System (WSQMS), providing co-ordinated support to Water Supply Managers and the team, to ensure that company standard instructions and site operating procedures (SOP’s) are documented, issued and controlled. You’ll be a key member of the Water Quality team, providing governance of the documents on the WSQMS and conducting embedment/audit checks and SOP reviews.
We’re looking for you to be working towards completion of actions in the procedures and documentation DWI transformation project plan, along with assisting in updating documents tracker and update reports. You’ll be supporting recommendations for changes and improvements to policies, processes and procedures.
You’ll be providing clear communications from the Water Supply Quality Review Group (WSQRG) shared mailbox to update Water Supply Teams on progress, along with working with the technical author to update existing standard instructions and forms, along with arranging and leading support workshops with site teams where required.
We’re looking for you to be supporting Team managers in completing and updating their site required documents, as well as being the main administration support to ensure documents are formatted correctly, given the appropriate version and reference number, and issued back to site teams.
About you
We’re looking for you to have proven experience of delivering an administrative activity and the understanding of operational activities. It would be great if you understood water treatment legislation and a knowledge of ISO 9001 accreditation.
You’ll have proven understanding and use of Microsoft Office including Excel; Word; PowerPoint; Outlook and SharePoint, along with having the ability to write clear and concise documented procedures, with maintaining accurate records for all work undertaken.
We’re looking for you to be highly motivated, be able and confident to work in a demanding environment, with the minimum of supervision, to deliver practical solutions to the problems identified.
You’ll have the drive for achieving quality improvements and taking responsibility for achieving results, along with the proven ability to relate to others and to work together as an effective team in order to achieve a mutually satisfying outcome.
