Principal Public Rights of Way Officer
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Public Rights of Way Officer who will act as the professional lead for all Public Rights of Way related matters across the authority.
Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational leadership to the Public Rights of Way team.
* Act as the council's subject matter expert and principal advisor on all PROW matters.
* Develop and implement policies, strategies, and service delivery models to improve the PROW network.
* Lead on complex legal cases, public path orders, enforcement matters, and appeals.
Experience and Qualifications
* Significant experience working within Public Rights of Way services, preferably in a senior or principal role within a local authority or highways environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience of delivering high-quality services through others.
Working Arrangements
This role requires the successful candidate in the offices a minimum of 1 day per week.
