We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Food and Beverage Manager to join our team based in Cadnam. You will join us on a 40 hour a week, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a salary of up to £28,080.00 per annum, plus service charge. Ensure that all food and beverage service staff receive an induction on commencement and that all training is kept up-to-date and a written record kept on file – in particular service standards and product knowledge. Ensure that staffing levels area always correct and appropriate to the level of business. Plan & schedule restaurant management floor coverage between yourself, and supervisors to ensure adequate management presence as required. Manage and assist with the running of events taking place in the hotel. Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships. Actively seek ways to promote sales and improve profit margins with daily/weekly targets, while incentivise team members to maximize sales and revenue. Regularly review food uptake and guest satisfaction feedbacks and use to inform decisions regarding future pricing, food offer and consistent service delivery to achieve successful operating results. Ensure that standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety are always maintained at the highest possible level. Ensure that all staff are aware of and working to these standards. Communicate effectively with all team members so that everyone is aware of business/team goals, priorities etc. To work closely with reception and Front of House Manager on maximizing yield capacity in the restaurant, working on procedures that will be consistent with utilising our booking and reporting systems. Ensure that pre- and post-service briefings are conducted alongside monthly communication meetings with minutes generated to be shared. Ensure the food and beverage service team are aware of all current and forthcoming offers and promotions. Accountable for monthly stock takes, beverage ordering and stock control, whilst keeping wine, bar and cocktail lists up to date.
