Role: Senior Health & Safety/ CDM Consultant
Location: London Projects within the M25
Salary: £55,000 £65,000 + Attractive benefits package

We Recruit Group is delighted to be partnering with an award-winning independent property and construction consultancy, renowned for its forward-thinking approach and people-first culture.

This highly respected business delivers a wide range of professional services to a diverse client base across the London property and construction sector and has built an excellent reputation for both client service and employee development.

They are now seeking a Senior Health & Safety/ CDM Consultant to join their growing team of industry experts based in London, operating within a hybrid working environment (2 days per week in the office).

Reporting directly to the Head of Department, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients across the built environment, delivering high-quality Health & Safety and CDM consultancy services across a range of schemes.

The consultancy operates across multiple sectors, with the H&S / CDM team predominantly supporting projects within the retail, leisure, education, residential, industrial and commercial sectors.

This role would suit an ambitious H&S/ CDM professional from either a consultancy or contractor background who is looking for genuine career progression. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of Health & Safety services to ensure compliance across construction projects
• Ensure pre-construction information is prepared, available, and maintained for each project
• Prepare Health & Safety files and Construction Phase Plans where required
• Carry out site inspections and ensure suitable RAMS are in place
• Conduct risk assessments and regular site safety inspections across the project portfolio
• Build and strengthen existing client relationships while supporting new business development
• Liaise with key stakeholders including architects, contractors, developers, designers, and clients, ensuring they remain informed of relevant safety requirements and legislative changes

Requirements

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
• Membership of IOSH, APS, IIRSM, or a similar professional body (desirable)
• Strong technical understanding of the 2015 CDM Regulations
• Knowledge of the Building Safety Act and the changes impacting the industry (desirable)
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach
