Statom Group North Ltd. is a renowned civil engineering contractor specializing in Remediation, Groundwork, and Structures. We are currently looking for skilled and motivated Groundworkers - CIS Contract to join our team and contribute to our exciting projects. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out various groundwork activities, including excavation, drainage installation, and preparing sites for construction. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Your skills and dedication will be essential in ensuring the successful completion of our projects while adhering to all health and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: Carry out digging, trenching, and other site preparation activities as required. Install and maintain drainage systems and underground services. Contribute to the erection and dismantling of site structures as necessary. Work collaboratively with other site operatives to ensure smooth project execution. Follow all health and safety regulations and report any hazards or incidents promptly. Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working condition. Ground Works (deep drainage including klargester install/ pumping chamber install, valve chamber install & road forming) Confined space training CPCS BLUE Dumper driver ticket (9t cabbed dumper) CPCS BLUE Roller operator (Bomag 120) The job is initially for 2 months but may run for longer. Valid CSCS/CPCS card and relevant training certifications MANDATORY. Knowledge of groundworks and construction processes. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to operate relevant machinery (e.g., diggers, dumpers) is an advantage. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
