An opportunity for an experienced, mature and industry seasoned GENERAL OPERATIONS MANAGER is required for permanent employment based in Newcastle.

Duties & Responsibilities
* Business Operations Management (All business departments, workshops, sites, projects)
* Staff management and delegation
* Mining, Heavy Industry, Engineering, Workshop, Manufacturing sectors exposure.
* Technical management skills
* Financial management skills
* Project costing, profit feasibility
* Ability to represent the company at a Senior Level.
Desired Experience & Qualification
* Relevant tertiary qualification: NQF 6 or above (preferred) +
* Min 10 years’ exp. at a General / Operations or Senior Management level (req.)
* Strong business acumen (Financial, budgets, forecasting, sales, administration, procurement, workshop etc)
* QA / QC Management (with ISO exp)
* Auditing exp/exposure
* Health & Safety
* Driver’s licence
* Computer literate (Advanced Excel)
* Traceable references (Background screening / Verifications clear)
* Newcastle residency required. (Relocation not included)
