Full Time/Permanent (36 hours 40 minutes per week, term time plus two weeks)
Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 3.50pm
Salary: SCP 12 – SPC 16. Term time plus two weeks actual salary £25,529 to £27,243

About the role:
We are seeking to appoint a school admin support officer to join our administration team. This is a varied and busy role which plays a key part in ensuring the operation of the school runs smoothly.
The successful individual will have excellent administration and organisational skills and have high levels of attention to detail. They must also work well under pressure and have a calm and professional manner.
This role is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to progress their career within administration as there are lots of professional development opportunities provided by the Trust.

Job Description - School Administrative Support Officer
Main Purpose of the post
To provide efficient and high calibre support to the Vice/Assistant Principals and Pastoral Team in respect to all matters, maintaining professionalism, integrity and confidentiality at all times.
Summary of Main Duties and Responsibilities
Officer Responsibilities:
● Embed a culture of high performance and service excellence.
● Provide positive, supportive and effective communication.
● Share good practice and take a lead on relevant initiatives.
● Work independently with minimal supervision.
Specific responsibilities:
● To work with the wider Attendance Team to monitor and record attendance and punctuality on a daily basis.
● PA to Vice/Assistant Principals.
● Produce minutes of weekly staff briefings.
● Organise Pastoral Support Plan meetings, update each plan accordingly and circulate to staff and parents/carers.
● To have responsibility for maintaining the appointment system for referrals to the School Counsellor/external counsellors.
● Support the recording of internal isolations.
● Keep the staff handbook, staff list and internal telephone directory up to date and available on the VLE.
● Maintain discretion and keep information confidential that is acquired in the course of performing the role.
● Work flexibly and undertake, when required, other duties associated with the clerical and administrative functions within the Academy.
● To maintain confidentiality and observe data protection and associated guidelines where appropriate
