The purpose of this new exciting opportunity is to achieve sales targets based on strategic business requirements through a mix of new and existing business. Support team members with coaching and performance management
* Responsibilities:
* To build and develop relationships with new, lapsed and specified existing clients
* Face-to-face meetings to understand clients’ needs in order to create the right solution
* Achieve targets set by the business; financial, opportunity management, activities
* Build and maintain a pipeline of customer opportunities to ensure continued success
* Ensure client contact details are up to date using CRM system
* Keeping up to date with key market insight and changes within the industry
* Actively promote new service offerings to clients.
* Help with continued development of client journey improvements
* Assist in arranging client entertainment when & where required
Knowledge and Experience:
* Strong sales & customer service skills to effectively interact with people across cultures and countries
* An effective communicator both written and verbally
* Strong Microsoft skills
* Excellent presentation skills
* Highly organised in order to achieve goals in a timely manner
* Knowledge of supplier service offerings and changes in market conditions
Previous experience using CRM systems within a similar role in Logistics or Freight is essential
* Personable and professional
* Positive and engaging outlook to encourage team & group engagement
* Self-motivated and able to develop ideas independently
* Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Organised and able to prioritise work load appropriately
