About the role
***WE ARE HOLDING AN ASSESSMENT CENTRE IN NORTHAMPTON ON 17TH FEBRUARY 2026***
Contract Type: Permanent & 12 month FTCs
Location: Wellingborough or Hemel Hempstead
Hybrid: 3 days a week in office
Hours: 38 per week, Mon–Fri (we will consider part time hours, to be discussed at interview stage)
Our Supply Chain team sits at the heart of the business, and we’re transforming how we work. We’re growing across grocery, frozen, butchery and impulse, and we’re looking for practical, problem‑solving people to help us raise the bar for service. Keep stock flowing to the right place at the right time. Support branches and category teams, improve customer satisfaction and cash profit, and help us plan ahead while fixing issues fast.
Main Responsibilities
8. Hitting service level targets while managing stockholding and waste
9. Owning a supplier/category portfolio
10. Overseeing that stock arrives into our network in full and on time
11. Forecasting demand, including NPD launches, seasonality and promotions
12. Working across the business with multiple stakeholders, ensuring excellent communication at all levels
13. Spotting risks early and taking appropriate action to resolve
14. Dealing with immediate issues in the moment
You will need
15. Good numerical skills
16. Clear communication, strong organisation, and attention to detail
17. Confidence using stock ordering/planning systems or similar systems
18. Basic Excel skills – we use filters, VLOOKUP & PivotTables but don’t worry if can’t do a v-look up or pivot table yet, we can support your upskilling
19. A practical way to forecast new lines using sensible comparisons and clear assumptions
20. GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English Grade C/4+
21. Nice to have: supply chain or procurement experience in the FMCG sector; a supply chain qualification or degree
