Operations & Communications Specialist (People Operations)
Location: Hybrid / London
Role Type: Flexible Contract (Full Scope)
Start Date: May 1st
We are looking for a highly disciplined Operations & Communications Specialist to act as the central backbone of our Organizational Effectiveness (OE) team.
This is a high-impact contract role designed for someone who thrives on \"making things land.\" With a heavy roadmap of global initiatives in flight—covering performance, talent, and career frameworks—we need a specialist who can bring rigorous execution to our operational rhythm while crafting the engagement strategies that ensure our employees and managers are supported every step of the way.
What You’ll Do
Strategic Communications & Engagement
* End-to-End Strategy: Develop engagement plans for Talent and Performance Management cycles, including launch phases, manager enablement, and ongoing reinforcement.
* Asset Creation: Build high-quality content across all formats—Slack announcements, email templates, manager toolkits, FAQ documents, and deck narratives.
* Simplification: Translate complex program mechanics and HR technicalities into clear, accessible, and actionable language.
* Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with People Partners to ensure communications are consistent and timely across different regions and functions.
CoE Operations & Program Execution
* Operational Backbone: Own the tracking, workstream coordination, and status reporting for the OE Center of Excellence.
* Cycle Management: Drive disciplined, on-time delivery for high-volume cycles like mid-year reviews, calibrations, and annual performance assessments.
* Risk Management: Maintain program toolkits and documentation while proactively flagging risks or dependencies before they become blockers.
* Cross-Functional Alignment: Ensure smooth coordination between People Operations, L&D, People Insights, and Compensation.
What You’ll Bring
* HR Comms Expertise: Professional experience in HR-focused communications and program management, specifically with exposure to performance or talent cycles.
* Sharp Editorial Instinct: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to write for clarity and impact rather than volume.
* Organizational Rigour: A structured working style with the proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams without oversight.
* Agility: Comfort operating in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment where the \"playbook\" is often still being written.
* Tech Stack: Proficiency in Workday and professional communication tools like Slack.
Logistics
* Reports to: Global Head of Organizational Effectiveness.
* Structure: Flexible contract structure, but \"full in scope\"—meaning we need someone fully committed to the delivery of these high-priority projects.
