The Opportunity
The geospatial division perfectly complements their strong geotechnical division and are expanding with the opening of a North Western office, preferably in Runcorn. For the right candidate, this role will evolve into potentially a CAD Manager role if this matches the candidate’s ambition and trajectory and will work closely with the Head of Geospatial Services. You will spend 60% of your time on site and 40% spent either in the office or working from home. The business has a strong client base and is further expanding its involvement in major frameworks across the country but already has enough work in the North West to establish this new office. If you aren’t based in the region but have some experience as detailed, we are also recruiting in the Midlands area.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
* Conduct a variety of geospatial tasks, including performing topographic and land surveys, operating total stations, and carrying out building surveys.
* Collect, analyse, and report accurate data to support project planning and development.
You will have the following qualifications & experience
* Proficiency in topographical surveys and land surveying
* Use of Leica Total Stations
* Degree or certificate in Surveying, Geospatial Science or a related field
* N4CE experience
* Skilled in conducting 3D scans of buildings
* Whilst you will have experience in Autocad, the business is upgrading to utilizing N4CE software for data collection and processing so it would be preferable to have experience in this.
