Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a permanent full - time Warehouse & Logistics Manager. This role is a varied and interesting position and would suit an enthusiastic and responsible person. This is a permanent, full-time position. Hours of work : Monday to Thursday 09:00 – 17:00, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and Friday 09:00 – 17:00, including a 60-minute unpaid lunch break (37 hours per week) Rate of pay: £25,935.52 per annum Annual leave entitlement: 25 days plus bank/public holidays per year. Warehouse Team Responsibilities Picking and packing orders for despatch Booking shipments with couriers using their online portals Receiving deliveries to the company which can be physically demanding (full training will be given) Checking the integrity of consignments on receipt and reporting any concerns Checking all delivery notes related to non-medicinal products to ensure deliveries contain the correct products in the correct quantities Maintaining the warehouse and company stock Performing regular stocktakes Maintaining a safe and clean working environment Performing monthly Pharmacy room cleaning Performing weekly fire alarm tests Driving company van on local collections Additional Managerial Role Responsibilities Manage the Company’s small warehouse and off-site storage Manage a part time colleague (colleague works two days per week) Manage the on-site premises, doing some general maintenance or organising trades as required Essential Criteria Ability to work under own initiative Good level of computer literacy Excellent organisational skills Great attention to detail and high level of accuracy Ability to undertake lifting and carrying safely Having a valid full driving licence and willingness to drive a small van A ‘can-do’ attitude and cheerful disposition
