Key Responsibilities
* Provide personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
* Assist patients with mobility, exercise routines, and safe use of assistive devices.
* Help patients maintain independence and dignity by offering guidance and emotional support.
* Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, laundry, and errands.
* Monitor and document physical and mental health, intake/output, and overall well-being.
* Educate patients and families on care techniques, home safety, and hygiene practices.
* Train family members on proper lifting, repositioning, and mobility support.
* Maintain accurate records and communicate any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor.
* Follow all agency protocols, healthcare regulations, and best practices.
* Uphold the reputation of Better Home Care through dependable, high-quality service.
Schedule & Work Environment
* Schedule: Varies by case
* Shifts: Day shifts (Monday–Friday), with potential weekend and overnight availability
* Work Setting: In-person, home-based care
Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a home health or similar care setting (required)
* License/Certification: Valid Driver’s License (required); Certified Home Health Aide (preferred)
* Transportation: Reliable and consistent transportation is required
Compensation & Benefits
* Pay: Up to $18.00/hour
