Are you passionate about inspiring a love for languages? Ansford Academy is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of French to join our friendly Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) team starting September 1, 2026.
About the Role
This is a 0.4 FTE Main Scale position suitable for either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a more experienced educator. You will play a vital role in driving forward language learning across KS3 and KS4, contributing to a curriculum designed to empower students with the skills they need for fulfilling lives.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering high-quality, engaging French lessons that enable all students to thrive.
Acting as a supportive Tutor and providing a high standard of pastoral care.
Collaborating with colleagues within the Academy and the Midsomer Norton Schools Partnership to share expertise and best practices.

We are seeking a professional who balances high expectations with a warm, inclusive approach. You should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree. Beyond your subject expertise, we value:
