The Position:
The Nuclear Project Engineer provides technical oversight and leadership for a portfolio of projects within the nuclear sector. This role ensures all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability, while adhering to engineering policies and procedures. Acting as a key liaison between customers and internal teams, the Project Engineer works collaboratively to resolve technical challenges, drive continuous improvement, and achieve project success on time and within budget.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Overseeing and assisting project leads in the preparation of technical deliverables.
* Acting as the primary interface with customer engineering representatives to resolve open issues.
* Monitoring project schedules and budgets for engineering/design scopes, addressing resourcing or performance concerns
* Reviewing and approving final technical documents in accordance with PEO guidelines
* Supporting the development of customer proposals through collaboration with Applications Engineering
* Recommending and implementing policies, procedures, and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and competitiveness
What We’re Looking For:
* An educational background in Engineering or a related discipline
* A licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Ontario
* Experience in project coordination or technical roles within a regulated environment
* Strong technical writing and documentation skills.
* Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities
* Proven ability to manage complex technical challenges and foster collaboration
* Familiarity with nuclear codes, standards, and compliance requirements is an asset
