Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We aim to support flexibility and would love to hear from you regardless of your availability.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure van and trays are clean and organized.
* Maintain a tidy back yard and pick up litter.
* Wash trays as required.
* Load the van and check for roadworthiness.
* Communicate with customers about order changes and substitutions, offering refunds if needed.
* Handle products carefully and deliver within the scheduled time slot.
* Contact customers if arriving early or running late.
Requirements:
* Build positive relationships with colleagues.
* Be warm and welcoming to customers and colleagues.
* Respond quickly to customer needs and embrace change.
* Be energetic, driven, and able to balance work and life.
* Share ideas for store improvements.
* Possess a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
