We are now seeking a Project Manager to join our UK operations supporting full‑cycle delivery of engineered heat tracing solutions and related industrial projects.
About the Role
As a Project Manager at Thermon UK, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end execution of customer projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role is central to Thermon's commitment to delivering exceptional customer value, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring project performance that supports both client success and Thermon's business outcomes.
You will work closely with engineering, commercial and operations teams-both internally and externally-to drive project execution, manage change, identify risks, and maintain strong project controls throughout the lifecycle. Some international travel to customer sites and key stakeholders may be required when needed.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead full‑cycle project management, ensuring adherence to scope, specifications, and contractual obligations.
* Develop a thorough understanding of project requirements, deliverables, client expectations, and Thermon commitments.
* Establish project scope, schedule, budget, milestones, and resource plans in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
* Assemble and manage the project team; allocate tasks and ensure execution aligns with the project plan.
* Create and maintain short‑ and long‑term schedules, monitoring milestones and proactively addressing delays.
* Communicate project scope, schedule updates, risks, and technical requirements to engineering teams, clients, and construction partners.
* Identify, manage, and control change throughout the project lifecycle.
* Maintain project budgets, financial forecasting, and reporting to the Engineering Director and Lead Designer.
* Work closely with Construction Managers to understand field progress, cost, scope, and constraints, integrating insights into the project plan.
* Manage project invoicing and close‑out documentation.
* Maintain high-quality project controls, documentation, and reporting.
* Provide input on global and regional procedures, supporting continuous improvement.
* Make effective, timely decisions and resolve issues with a collaborative, solutions‑oriented mindset.
* Ensure quality control across all phases to meet Thermon's standards.
Qualifications & Experience
* 5–8 years of project management experience, ideally in manufacturing or EPC environments.
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or similar (preferred).
* PMP certification is an advantage.
* Experience delivering projects through the full lifecycle.
* Experience with Electrical Heat Tracing systems is a strong advantage.
* Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex projects under pressure.
