Sense are looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our fantastic team as a Deputy Care Manager for Social Care at our Residential service in King's Heath, Birmingham.
This is a Permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week. As a Deputy Care Manager you will receive £26,676 per annum.
You will join our fantastic team here in Kings Heath at our 4-bedroom, detached home in a residential area.
This is an opportunity for you to support the Registered Care Manager at this service and for you to develop in a manager’s role as a step along your career path.
As a Deputy Care Manager you will provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments and/or learning disabilities. You will be a frontline supervisor, supporting the manager to effectively manage a team of staff to deliver person centred, specialist services.
As a Deputy Care Manager your role will include a combination of office based and hands on tasks. Comprehensive training provided.

Your duties can include:
12. To support individuals / groups within the centre and community.
13. You will assist the manager in the running of the service including rota, supervising, mentoring and leading the team to ensure that all shared responsibilities are fulfilled and systems maintained which guarantee compliance.
14. To provide a customised, responsive and high quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
15. To deliver services which meet or exceed organisational expectations and standards.
Your required skills and experiences:
16. A full manual UK license and the willingness to drive our company vehicle.
17. Experience in care and working with complex needs or deafblind people.
18. Basic administration skills and and good use of IT is essential.
