Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and personable
Customer Service Specialist
to join our busy team in Fareham.

In this role, you'll act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of customers, managing their hire requirements from start to finish. You'll build strong relationships, provide exceptional service, and make sure every order runs smoothly.

If you're someone who loves solving problems, building customer loyalty, and making things happen, this could be the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as the go-to contact for a dedicated portfolio of customers.
* Manage hire enquiries from start to finish — quoting, booking, and confirming orders.
* Work closely with suppliers and operations to ensure orders are delivered on time and in full.
* Build strong, long-term relationships with customers by providing outstanding service.
* Handle last-minute or urgent requests with speed and professionalism.
* Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
* Support the wider customer service team with overflow enquiries when required

Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in a customer service, account management, or hire desk role (hire industry knowledge is a bonus).
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple accounts at once.
* Problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and comfortable with order management systems.
