Laser & Press Brake Operative - Barnsley (Permanent Role)
We're currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Laser & Press Brake Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Barnsley on a permanent basis.

The role:
* Programming and running laser cutting and press brake machines
* Loading and unloading materials (including use of cranes/FLT where required)
* Carrying out routine machine maintenance and reporting faults
* Working from engineering drawings to produce high-quality parts
* Recording output, wastage and quality checks
* Ensuring all work meets company quality standards
What we're looking for:
* Experience operating laser and/or press brake machinery
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Good attention to detail and quality
* Reliable, organised and able to work independently
* Team player with a positive attitude
Pay & Hours:
* £13.80 per hour (training/start rate)
* +30% shift allowance on afters
* +40% shift allowance on nights
* Rotating shifts
