About the role
The Diagnostic Imaging Assistant will assist qualified radiographers with day‑to‑day duties and provide patient support in the imaging department at OSH.
* Enter data into the Patient/Radiology Information system (RIS/PIS), manage data sharing and image distribution using PACs, IEP, and other associated systems.
* Assist Consultant Radiologists with ultrasound lists.
* Participate in regular review of clinic activities to ensure patient journey, comfort, safety and service outcomes remain at the highest level.
The successful candidate will work on a shift basis, 37.5 hours per week over a 7‑day rota, with no fixed shift and may be required to work weekends and bank holidays.
About you
Minimum five GCSEs or equivalent (Grades A‑C) including Maths, English and a Science subject, or NVQ Level.
Experience in patient care across imaging modalities, ideally within healthcare or private healthcare setting.
