Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Integration Manager to lead M&A integration strategy within a multi-disciplined engineering organisation. The role requires residence within an hour of Manchester and flexibility to travel as required.
What You'll Do
* Lead post-acquisition integrations from Day 1 through full operational integration
* Design comprehensive integration frameworks for newly acquired businesses
* Drive IPO readiness through standardized processes and governance structures
* Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with divisional leaders
* Deliver value creation by identifying and realising synergies between acquired businesses
What We're Looking For
* 10+ years in business integration with 5+ years in senior M&A integration roles
* Proven track record integrating businesses in engineering, construction, or facilities management
* IPO preparation experience through effective business integration and standardisation
* Systems integration expertise including ERP/CRM consolidation
* Exceptional stakeholder management and Board-level communication skills
The Opportunity
* 12-month interim role with potential extension
* Manchester-based with a minimum of 3 days per week on site
* Direct Board exposure and IPO preparation involvement

Preferred Experience & Qualifications
* M&E, facilities management, or construction sector experience
* Professional qualifications (ACA, CIMA, MBA, or equivalent)
* Private equity or growth capital-backed business experience
* Previous IPO preparation involvement
