THE ROLE
1. Working with a varied range of SME clients
2. Preparation of Limited company, LLP, partnership, and sole trader financial statements.
3. Preparation of management accounts.
4. Maintaining up to date technical knowledge of accounting standards and tax
5. Drafting personal and corporate tax computations and completion and submission of tax returns
6. Oral and written communication with client and HMRC.
7. Liaising with colleagues to provide a co-ordinated service to the client.
8. Maintaining client contact to deliver client centred proactive service.
ABOUT YOU
9. Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within an accounting practice.
10. Experience in FRS102 and FRS102 1A accounts preparation
11. Corporation and Personal Tax experience
12. Enjoys working in a fast-paced office
13. High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to produce work of a consistently high standard
14. Commitment to deliver first class service which exceeds our clients’ expectations
15. Ability to work on own initiative and to deadlines
16. Good technical knowledge and IT skills
17. Strong communication skills, both oral and written
18. Can demonstrate a track record of success working within a team
19. Adaptable and organised with a commercial approach
20. Proven ability to deliver tasks to deadlines and within budget.
