Job Title: Insurance Broking Accounts Technician
Location: Chelmsford, Essex (Hybrid - flexibility to work from home)
Contract Type: 12 months with the possibility of extensions
Rate: £300.00 inside IR35 via Umbrella companies
Overview
We are seeking an Insurance Broking Accounts Technician to join a Global Broking Centre team, based primarily in Chelmsford. This role is responsible for the delivery and development of fiduciary services across a portfolio of business, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and strategic improvements. The role also includes oversight of offshore service delivery, contributing to performance management and process optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver fiduciary KPIs, SLAs, and working capital targets.
2. Collaborate with internal teams to achieve business outcomes.
3. Support the development and execution of fiduciary account strategies.
4. Lead delivery of specific projects and service improvements.
5. Provide oversight and guidance to offshore service teams.
6. Identify and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and control.
7. Produce regular reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
8. Maintain and update documentation related to fiduciary processes.
9. Ensure compliance with internal risk management frameworks and policies.
10. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. underwriters, auditors).
Essential Skills & Experience:
11. Strong understanding of insurance broking accounts and fiduciary processes.
12. Proven experience working with offshore service providers.
13. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all levels.
15. Ability to influence and lead initiatives.
16. Knowledge of the UK regulatory environment.
17. Enthusiastic team player with leadership qualities.
