As a Derivative Operations Documentation Analyst, in Market Operations Team, you'll be responsible for managing daily tasks and remediation activities while leading process improvement. Job responsibilities Draft structured confirmations using trade risk management systems and terms sheets. Understand structured products and the respective legal documentation requirements, including, but not limited to, long-form confirmations, Transaction Supplements and Master Confirmation Agreements. Drive efficiency in the current process and identify incorrect booking practices and educate Middle Office on the impact. Manage workflow in a queue, ensuring that allocations are managed in a timely manner. Ensure drafting is checked for accuracy of financial details and ISDA language and are in accordance with JPMorgan and market standards. Build, sustain strong working relationships and work with traders and marketers, marketing support groups, middle office, Legal, client servicing team and other departments. Ensure all issues are investigated and resolved in a timely manner. Review of the process to identify possible improvements and that sufficient controls and procedures are in place and adhered to, in order to guard the Bank from risk or exposure. Ensure the confirmation process follows the Bank’s compliance, audit and legal policies. Product and monitor of daily and weekly MIS. Able to work late shifts supporting the business. Advanced skills in process improvement methodologies, with a track record of optimizing operations in a financial services environment. Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills ISDA knowledge, Derivatives product knowledge and experience. Self-starter, ability to learn quickly, strong leadership skills with focus to mitigate risks and taking proactive approach to ensure “Best in Class” results.
