AI Engineer
Location: London (preferred) or Manchester – hybrid working arrangement
Salary: Up to £70,000 DOE + Benefits

The Role:
This role is suited to a curious, hands-on developer who wants to work at the cutting edge of AI-driven software development.
You will join a small, agile team building real-world applications that incorporate large language models, agent based systems, and cloud based AI services. The role requires someone who enjoys experimenting, learning quickly, and applying new technologies in practical ways.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled solutions using modern full stack technologies
* Integrate cloud-based AI services (e.g. language models, machine learning, search, and cognitive APIs) into production systems
* Build and enhance features powered by large language models, including agent-style workflows and contextual integrations
* Work closely with clients to gather requirements and translate them into functional software solutions
* Contribute to technical discovery, prototyping, and proof-of-concept work to support new opportunities
* Develop internal tools, reusable components, and accelerators focused on AI use cases
* Research and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and development approaches
Experienced Required:
* Full stack development experience with: React/Node.js, .NET/C#, Python/FastAPI
* Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
* Demonstrable ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them effectively
* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on code quality and best practices
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Desired Skills:
* Experience with LLM integration, prompt engineering, or agent-based AI development
* Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Cursor
* Azure AI Engineer certification or equivalent practical experience
* Understanding of MCP, RAG architectures, or vector databases
Candidates must be able to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship currently or in the future.
You must be within a commutable distance from either office as you will be in the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
