We're looking for a Production Shift Lead to join our team in Bodmin and play a key role in driving performance, maintaining high standards, and supporting our people. What You'll Do: Lead by example in promoting a culture of food safety and quality. Organise and oversee the work of Line Leaders across high-risk and low-risk areas. Monitor production output, resolve performance issues, and implement improvements. Conduct team briefs, manage daily headcount, and coordinate staff movements. Ensure accurate timekeeping and support payroll processes. Participate in staff disciplinaries and return-to-work procedures. Maintain food safety records and complete quality checks. Respond to customer complaints and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with the HACCP team and support internal/external audits. Drive innovation and efficiency across slicing lines and production processes. What You'll Bring: Strong leadership and communication skills. Solid understanding of KPIs including labour, yield, waste, and plan attainment. Experience in food manufacturing and quality procedures. Ability to work under pressure and manage within budget constraints. Computer literacy and data accuracy. Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards. Qualifications: GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent). NVQ / FME (preferred). Food Safety for Manufacturing Level 2. HACCP Level 2. Why Join Us?
