We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. Duties
* Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Assist in the preparation and administration of medication, providing guidance and support to patients regarding their prescriptions.
* Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed, including patient information and prescription details.
* Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and address any medication-related queries.
* Ensure the pharmacy is well-stocked with necessary medications and supplies, conducting regular inventory checks.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
* Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of medication administration processes and patient care practices is essential.
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Ability to communicate clearly with patients and healthcare professionals, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
* A commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of pharmacy practice.
* Familiarity with pharmacy software systems would be an advantage.
