Job Title: Secondary School Cover Supervisor – All Subjects
Pay: £118–£208 per day
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time

About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent. These roles are available on both a short-term and long-term basis. In addition, full-time opportunities may be available depending on the needs of the school.
As a Cover Supervisor, you will step in to deliver pre-planned lessons. Therefore, you will play a key role in keeping students engaged and on track with their learning.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
7. Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
8. Therefore, ensure students remain focused and engaged
9. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
10. Support student learning and respond to questions where needed
11. Provide feedback to teaching staff on student progress
12. In addition, help maintain a safe and positive learning environment
13. Ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of all students at all times
Requirements
To be successful, you should:
14. Have at least 6 months’ experience in a UK school setting
15. Be confident managing a classroom independently
16. Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
17. Show flexibility and willingness to work in different schools
18. Be committed to high standards of learning and support

19. This role requires an enhanced DBS check
20. In addition, two references covering the last two years are required
