Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and organised Lead Handler to manage incoming customer enquiries and sales leads across our energy efficiency programmes, including government-funded ECO schemes, solar PV installations, and air source heat pump (ASHP) projects.
This role is key to ensuring that all leads are handled efficiently, accurately, and professionally, supporting both customer satisfaction and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive and process incoming leads via phone, email, web forms, and partner referrals
* Qualify leads based on programme criteria and customer eligibility
* Accurately input and update lead information into CRM systems
* Liaise with surveyors and book initial surveys into our diary system
* Allocate leads to appropriate teams or departments for follow-up
* Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the initial enquiry stage
* Track lead progress and follow up on outstanding enquiries
* Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth handover and scheduling
* Provide regular reporting on lead volumes, conversion rates, and response times
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or call handling
* Understanding of ECO schemes, Solar PV, or ASHP
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple enquiries and prioritise effectively
* High attention to detail and data accuracy
* Positive attitude and team-oriented approach
Desirable:
* Experience of SIMRPO and / or MONDAY.COM
Annual salary for this role is £27,000 dependent on experience, paid PAYE monthly, with 30 days holiday (including bank), long-service holiday incentives and our pension scheme.
This role will be office based, full time 40 hours, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm, with 30 minute lunch.
Flexibility towards the business needs is required along with Saturday working, on a rota basis (one in three), paid as overtime at time and a quarter.
