As a People System Specialist deal with all technical issues relating to the People Systems whilst offering guidance and support to the officers and staff of West Yorkshire Police., Applicants should be aware that it is not always possible to carry out adequate vetting checks on persons who have not been resident within the UK for the last five years. Therefore, where this applies, applicants may be refused because it was not possible to vet them to the appropriate standard.

The role is working as part of a small team and the ideal candidate will be highly motivated and self disciplined and able to work with minimum supervision.
The ideal applicant must have experience of working with computer systems and databases. Having a good knowledge of our current systems e.g. HR, CARM, Oleeo and Chronicle would be advantageous but would not preclude anyone without this knowledge.
As we are moving through a period of change in relation to reporting we welcome applicants who can display PowerBi report building skills.
