An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Support Secretary in the Medicine Division at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent typing and organisational skills and experience of working to deadlines to provide secretarial support for the department.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of this post will be supporting the senior secretary in the daily typing of clinical correspondence, logging and chasing of diagnostic requests and general secretarial duties and providing cover for colleagues during periods of annual leave and sickness and ensuring the department continues to meet its targets

Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent including English
* RSA 11 Typing or equivalent / ECDL/ICT or equivalent
* ECDL or equivalent
* Medical Secretary AMSPAR or equivalent experience
Skills
* Evidence of Audio Typing Skills
* Ability to use LE2.2
* Ability to use G2
Experience
* Previous experience as a medical, relief or trainee secretary
* Experience of working in a busy office
* Familiar with Medical Terminology
